OnePlus Buds will be “completely wireless”, that is, with the two sides of the handset separated and without any cable or connector between them. Like other models, the headphones would be stored in a box that also serves as a charger. For now, there are no details on the operation, price or any additional features of the accessory. However, Max J. guarantees that the revelation could happen in July this year – and it could coincide with a possible announcement of the OnePlus Z, which would be the equivalent of the ‘Lite’ version of the OnePlus 8.
— Max J. (@MaxJmb) May 23, 2020 Additional speculation points that the look of the items will be similar to the OPPO Enco Free (and, consequently, to Apple’s AirPods). The reason is that the two companies belong to the same conglomerate, BBK Electronics, and tend to share technologies. Currently, the manufacturer offers customers the OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 for $ 99.
