This Saturday (04), the DongleBookPro Twitter account, known for publishing images of Apple’s internal products, published screenshots that revealed the new configuration of the iOS 14 home screen, corroborating previous speculations. IOS already has support for widgets that were introduced in version 8 of the operating system. However, this support is somewhat simple and limited, restricted only to the “Preview for Today” screen. It is no coincidence that, unlike iOS, Android has this feature much more developed. After all, since its initial versions, the OS has features that favor user customization and freedom. With that, Android offers many more options for widgets that, incidentally, can be moved freely between panels. In addition to this change, according to DongleBookPro, iOS 14 will also bring a new settings panel for wallpapers. Apparently, the wallpapers will be divided by collections, to facilitate the user’s navigation among the available options. With this update, scheduled for the end of this year, users will also be able to choose exclusive dynamic wallpapers for the main screen. According to the leak, the dynamic options will be available in three versions: smooth, defocused and dark color. In this way, the widgets and icons will contrast with the background image and will receive the necessary highlight on the main screen.
