The scanner (monitoring.subpav.rio/COVID19) uses red dots to indicate the neighborhoods in the capital of Rio de Janeiro where the new coronavirus was detected. Suspicious cases, in turn, are shown in yellow. The numbers are highlighted on the left of the map. Planned by the Pereira Passos Institute in partnership with technicians from the Municipal Health Department, the panel also allows you to consult cases by age and gender. Data are available on the right side of the platform. The COR-Rio monitor also provides information on the number of people hospitalized and which ones are in Intensive Care Units. At the bottom of the panel, it is possible to follow the daily evolution curve of Covid-19 in Rio de Janeiro. Until the publication of this article, there were no deaths from the disease in the city. The number of fatalities, if any, will be disclosed in the “Deaths” box.
